Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Ice Yellow and Sesame Dropping in Summer 2018
Despite the fact that the Yeezymafia said that the Blue tints were going to be the last V2s for a long while, new colorways have surfaced. It still hasn’t been 2 weeks, and 2 brand new V2s made an official appearance. And Yeezy fans around the world are having mixed feelings about them. The Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Ice yellow and Sesame are dropping in the summer of 2018.
Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Ice Yellow
Following in the footsteps of the Semi Frozen yellow, The Yeezy boost 350 v2 Ice Yellow also features a controversial yellow primeknit upper. However, this new Yeezy has shed the Zebra pattern, the ‘SPLY-350’ logo, and the gum outsoles. In fact, the Ice Yellow looks a lot like the cream Whites, but it was welcomed with the same hatred as the yebras. Well, that’s how it is with almost all Yeezy colorways, people will still fight over them no matter how “ugly” they think they are.
Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Sesame
This colorway takes us back in time to 2015, specifically to the days of the Oxford tan. The new Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Sesame, features like the 2015 version, a monotonal tan/ earthy more like sesame primeknit upper. It also lacks the ‘SPLY-350’ logo, but this iteration flaunts a nicely contrasting, much-love gum outsole. So maybe this colorway will be Yeezys next big release, combining the color of the famous Oxford tan and the gum outsoles. Or maybe people have grown bored with these tones.
The first news regarding the 2 new Yeezy colorways says that they will be dropping in the Summer of 2018. The release date of the Ice Yellow is scheduled for June 2018 and that of the Sesame for August 2018. They will most probably retail for the usual price of $220.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Ice Yellow
Color: Ice Yellow
Style Code: F36980
Release Date: June 2018
Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Sesame
Style Code: F99710
Release Date: August 2018
Although no specific date was announced yet, Yeezy fans around the world must be thrilled right now. Especially that these new iterations very much remind us of the good old days. Those old days were so good that the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Oxford tan still, after 2 years, holds a very high price premium. More accurately its average resale price is around $1000 making its sellers around 490% profit over the original price.
So the wait will not be too long after all! And even if these months go by so slowly, the wait might just be worth it. Worth in terms of Yeezys and resale profit. But sneakerheads, keep in mind that it all depends on the stock level. If Adidas and Kanye were to flood the market with these colorways, they will have the same destiny as the beluga 2.0. It is now selling for an average of $340. No Yeezys ever had such a low resale value.
Stay tuned for any updates on the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Ice Yellow and Sesame. And remember that the Yeezy Powerphase is dropping in January 2018 followed by the Desert rat 500 in March.
